Glue chip glass has a lovely fern-like texture. It is made by first taking normal clear or coloured glass and sandblasting one side. To this a mix of molten glue is applied and allowed to dry. As the drying process proceeds the glue, having attached itself to the glass, shrinks and pulls chips of glass from the glass sheet.
Make your scorelines on the non-glue chipped side.
