We stock Spectrum and Uroboros System 96 fusible glass sheets, rods, stringers, noodles, and frits. System 96, as the name implies, has a COE of 96 and is a highly workable glass with a smooth surface and even thickness.
System 96 is a soft, forgiving glass with a long working range and a wide margin of error. It is famously easy to cut, the colours are bright and consistent, and it will tolerate multiple firings without a blemish because it was designed to be remelted with resistance to devitrification. No overglaze is necessary.
Though they may look the same as the stained glass products, Spectrum "Tested Compatible" glasses are fundamentally different in their basic chemistries: designed to deliver an excellent working range and superior stability for glass fusing, slumping and other hot glass pursuits. They can, however, be used just as any other sheet glass in panels, lampshades, foiling, and other non-warm-glass creations.
Please note that Spectrum and Uroboros System 96 glass products are not compatible with Bullseye COE 90 glass available from other suppliers.
